Ada Louise Hamilton is a ceramicist-slash-sculptor living and working in Chicago, IL. They will graduate from The School of Art Institute of Chicago in Spring of 2025. Ada grew up looking for hidden treasure in Northern California. Fascinated with figurines and commemorative plates, Ada borrows imagery from post-gold-rush Americana. The language of sentimental twee is re-appropriated to reconstruct their narratives about the world. They are always looking backwards and walking forwards.
